Hair Relaxers Causing Hormone-Related Cancers Lawsuit

A National Institute of Health (NIH) medical study published on October 17, 2022 shows women who frequently used hair straightening products suffered an increased risk of ovarian and uterine cancers. These findings were consistent with prior studies showing hair straighteners (relaxers) increased the risk of hormone-related cancers in women.

Critically, the study found that women who reported frequent use of hair relaxers were twice as likely to develop hormone-related cancers.

Hair relaxer products linked to hormone-related cancers include:

• L’Oreal Xtenso
• Revlon Professional Conditioning Crème Relaxer
• Crème of Nature
• Strength of Nature Motions
• Strength of Nature Soft & Beautiful
• Soft Sheen/Carson Dark & Lovely
• Soft Sheen/Carson Optimum Care

If you used any of these hair relaxer products and were diagnosed with uterine/endometrial cancer or ovarian cancer, you may be eligible for compensation.
